Cyclocross Clinics in DC presented by DCMTB


2012 DCMTB CX Clinics are FREE!!!

Well, not totally. If you hold a current USA Cycling license you pay a $1. If you don’t have a license, you pay the $1 fee but you are also required to buy a 1-day license for $5.

Remember that this Saturday, September 18th, Arley Kemmerer (C3-Twenty20) will be holding the first of two women only clinics (the second one is Sat. October 20that 10 am).  Arley is one of the top CX racers in the Mid-Atlantic region. She will be sharing tons of useful advice and general information to women who are trying cross for the first time this year and also for the intermediate and advanced racers.

All clinics will be held at the Armed Forces Retirement Home - Rock Creek Church Rd, NW & Randolph St, NW. Enter at Randolph St. Gate and follow signs to clinic site. Please arrive early to register. Clinics will start on time. 
 After the clinic, participants will have the opportunity to ride around the race site/course to practice the newly learned skills.

Wednesday, September 5 at 6:00 pm – Clinic with Elite MABRA CX Champion Weston Schempf (SEAVS/Haymarket)

Wednesday, September 12 at 6:00 pm – “Race Simulation” Clinic (riders will participate in a series of drills including race starts and mini-races)

Wednesday, September 19 at 6:00 pm – clinic rain date, if needed



Saturday, October 20 at 10:00 am – DC-ChiX clinic (women only) with C3’s Arley Kemmerer
