as a cyclist and a resident of washington dc the issues of bicycle and pedestrian safety are close to my heart
I hope that having an athlete as a mayor aids in guiding dc towards being a more bicycle and pedestrian friendly city

I hope to meet with the new mayor later this year to discuss what his plans are for making this city more safe to bicyclists and pedestrians

I will propose to him that we should aim to make DC A CIVIL CITY!
